Disrupted Schedules

Dear Self,

Ever since the start of the new year, I have been more religious in planning out my day. I would fix my schedule on my digital calendar the night before so that I can somehow predict how my day would go from the moment I get out of bed the next morning. It has worked wonders in increasing my productivity.

But today is not one of those days. While I did plan it out last night, my schedule got sidetracked twice. First, one of my veneer jackets fell out of my tooth - likely due to my teeth grinding for the past two days, since I forgot to put on my mouth guard before going to bed. As such, to get to my dental appointment, I had to get off work a little earlier than I had originally planned. Secondly, one of the volcanoes nearby decided to spew out tons of ash and debris into the sky, effectively disrupting everyone's lives. Bravo, Mother Nature! That's one way of reminding us pesky humans who's boss!

I thought that I was going to get more things accomplished today. Apparently, fate had a different plan. Thank goodness we still have internet amidst this apocalyptic eruption.

Stay safe. Do not go outdoors unless you really have to. Let's hope for a better tomorrow - because, honestly, 2020 hasn't been all that wonderful so far.

Sincerely,

Lagundi
